We had some rough weather and Prom which kind of dominated most of our competition time this past week. However, we did have a few athletes compete at Davis on Saturday that did well.
Congrats to Janessa Miles for hitting the State Q mark in Shot Put!
Congrats to Taylor Jorgensen for winning the open 1600 and Elayna Loveridge for winning the open 3200!
This week we have Timpanogos Relays on Wednesday at Timpanogos High at 2:15 p.m. and Tiger Trials Invite at Orem High on Friday at 2:00 p.m. and Saturday at 9:00 a.m.. These are both limited meets and we will only be taking some of the team to each meet. Buses will leave Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. and Friday at 11:35 a.m. and 7:15a.m. on Saturday. Athletes going to Timp Relays will be excused early from school.
3rd Quarter Report Cards need to be uploaded to registermyathlete ASAP. Athletes cannot compete if this is not done!
Next week we have a home meet on April 28th and would love some parent help putting on the meet. Please let the coaches know if you are able to help out. Here are some things we can use help with:
Running results from the finish to the box
Clerking at the starting line
Concessions
Helping with field events like jumps, Javelin, Shot Put, Discus, Pole Vault.
We will also need a lot of help to put our Twilight Invitational on on May 7th. We have 14 schools coming to this meet.
