Overnight Travel

This year we are planning a two day trip to Pine View High Invitational in Washington (St. George), Utah on March 21-22.  Athletes will be school excused that Friday.

These spots will be invited spots, based on coaches discretion and marks that meet the Invitational's standards.   

Fees for this will be added to skyward and need to be paid by Wednesday March 19. The cost is $150 which includes the bus and driver costs, hotel room, District Insurance (now $10), Sub costs if any, and $15 per meal.  We will give $45 in petty cash back to the athlete before leaving to use for meals, probably the day before at practice. Paper work needs to be given to Coach Barnes by this time as well.  Links for the forms are found below.

Those who commit to going and back out after March 13th, will still pay a minimum $50 deposit fee unless another athlete of the same gender is found to replace them before registration closes on March 18th.

Chaperones: Coaches and Parents to the extent that we have one chaperon to about every 10 athletes.

Cost $150 for transportation & hotels, and District Travel Insurance + food.

Friday March 21, 2025                        

Breakfast before you leave

Leave Mountain Ridge at 6:30 a.m.  Meet by the gym on the north side     

Lunch on your own (bring snacks that will sit well with you for competing) (petty cash)

Arrive at Pine View at 12:00 p.m.                                 

Pine View Invite 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Dinner on your own, we will find some restaurants after the meet (petty cash)

Check into Hotel, Comfort Inn in St. George (138 E Riverside Dr.)  after dinner.

Athletes must be in rooms and Quiet by 10:00 p.m.

 

Saturday March 22, 2025

Breakfast at the hotel 6:00 a.m. -7:30 a.m.

Check out of hotel at 7:30 a.m.

Pine View Meet 8:00 a.m.

Lunch on your own, 1:00 p.m., we will stop on the way out of town (petty cash)

Return trip to Herriman at 2:00 p.m.

Return to Mountain Ridge 7:00 p.m.
