Hope you all had a good spring break and that those who were out of town stayed in shape! We had two good meets before spring break with our meet at home and with the 35 plus athletes who competed at Pine View. We saw a lot of good efforts, marks, PRs, and even some State Qs.
Congrats to the following for hitting State Q marks this past week at Pine View: Cailey Bracken -1600m and 3200m, Cilia Cobos - Long Jump, and Kinzlee Riddle - 100m.
Congrats to Adam Wightman for setting a new school record in in Pole Vault of 15 feet 0 inches! Cailey Bracken set a new school record in the 3200m. We did have a few Grade Level records change as well.
We will be at Riverton vs Riverton and Copper Hills on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.. We will be on Schedule 1.
Everyone will be checked out from school early and the buses are currently scheduled to leave at 1:45pm from the north parking lot by the gym. Athletes are expected to compete in multiple events that day and help run the meet. Athletes should be present the entire meet, either competing, helping, or cheering on their teammates in different events. No one should leave early! It is supposed to be the a decent weather day.
Make sure you are at practice everyday so you are eligible to compete!
