End of Season

Congrats to those who competed at State for our team.  Big congrats to those who placed and scored at State:

Maren Jones - Shot Put 6th place and Discus 5th place

Meg Cummings - Shot Put 8th place  

Rylee Parkinson - High Jump 7th place,  

Nathaniel Gomm - Discus 8th place

Boy's 4x800 team (Chayse Vickers, Conner Pedersen, Nathan Horsley, Keatyn Perkins) 8th place

Maren Jones got a new school record in the Shot Put and Nathan Horsley ran a new 1600 meter record.

End of the year BBQ is Monday May 23 at 6:00pm at the High School cafeteria.  We will have each athlete attending bring a food item to share (fruit, salad, veggies, dessert, or chips). This is only for athletes, those that actually finished out the season.  Hawaiian style dress theme if you wish.

We will have a runner/parent meeting for those who would like to run Cross Country this coming season on Tuesday May 24th at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Lecture Hall (across from the attendance office).  We will talk about Summer XC and what you need to do to be part of the team for this Fall.  It is very important that you attend, or have a parent attend for you, so you know what is expected and what will be happening this summer and upcoming season.  Come and meet the coaches.

We will announce this in school and the middle schools, but spread the word anyway.
