We ended up 3rd with both boys and girls this last week at the Region Championships at Bingham.
Congrats to the following for being individual Region Champs: Cailey Bracken - 1600m and 3200m, Carly Trujillo - Shot Put, Adam Hawkes - Discus, Adam Wightman - Pole Vault.
Big congrats to those who qualified for State, either by mark or by place at Region: Hadley Andreason - Discus, Carly Trujillo - Discus, Shaylee Grant - Shot Put, Kyanna Stoddart - Javelin, Brooklyn Tarr - 3200m, Girl's 4x200 team (Lexi Jarvis, Nat Shober, Nevaleigh Dinkel, and Britni Ott), Boy's 4x400 team (Cael Packard, Ashton Pedersen, Adam Wightman, Beef Winterton). Boy's 4x800 team (Ashton Pederesn, Jacob Belcher, Nathan Burningham, Jaren Barnes), Girl's 4x800 team (Brooklyn Tarr, Grace Waite, Katelyn Hart, Cailey Bracken).
State is Thursday and Saturday at BYU, the schedule is HERE
We will have a dinner for (only) those going to State on Wednesday in the HS cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. We announced it on the State groupme.
End of the year BBQ is Tuesday May 21 at 6:00pm at the High School Cafeteria. We will have each athlete attending bring a food item to share. This is only for athletes that finished the season.
