End of Season

Congrats to those who competed at State for our team. Our Girls finished 8th and our Boys 10th. Big congrats to those who placed and scored at State:

Cailey Bracken - 3200 meter 1st place

Adam Hawkes - Shot Put 1st place

Carly Trujillo - Shot Put 2nd place

Adam Hawkes  - Discus 2nd place

Cailey Bracken - 1600 meter 3rd place

Dallin Frandsen - 110 Hurdles 8th place

Shaylee Grant - Discus 4th place

Adam Wightman - Pole Vault 3rd place

 

Congrats to the following for setting new school records:

Cailey Bracken - 3200 and 1600 meter, Adam Hawkes - Shot Put, Carly Trujillo - Shot Put, Girl's 4x200 team (Lexi Jarvis, Natalie Shober, Nevaleigh Dinkel, and Britni Ott), Boy's 4x200 Relay (Cole Freeman, Cameron Wood, Beef Winterton, Cael Packard), Boy's 4x400 team (Cael Packard, Ashton Pedersen, Adam Wightman, Beef Winterton).

Thanks to the athletes who came last Friday and helped put Equipment away!

End of the year BBQ is Tuesday May 21 at 6:00pm at the High School cafeteria.  We will have each athlete attending bring a food item to share (fruit, salad, veggies, dessert, or chips assigned by coaches to each event). This is only for athletes, those that actually finished out the season.  

We will have a runner/parent meeting for those who would like to run Cross Country this coming season, on Wednesday May 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Lecture Hall (across from the attendance office).  We invite those interested, to come and meet the coaches and learn about Summer XC and what you need to do to be part of the team for this Fall.  It is very important that you attend, or have a parent attend for you, so you know what is expected and what will be happening this summer and upcoming season.

We will announce this in school and the middle schools, but spread the word anyway.
