Westlake, Davis, and April 13 -18

We have a home meet this week with Westlake, and Davis Invite on Saturday.  We will have 2 meets a week for the next 3 weeks.  Farmington Invite had some good highlights for us and good marks, but the second half of the meet ran way late and we ended up leaving at 10:30pm before it finished.  Thanks to all those who came to compete and watch and stayed for so long.  The meet had issues and hopefully they resolve some of those things for the future because we have always liked going to that Invite.

Congrats to Milo Webb for breaking the school record in Long Jump!

We will have a dual meet at Mountain Ridge Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m..  Athletes should be present the entire meet, either competing or cheering on their teammates in different events.  No one should leave early!    

We have a SIGN-UP for parents to sign up to help with the events on Wednesday. There will be two 2 hour time slots to choose from for each event.  Coaches can help train parents how to work events if they are inexperienced.  We of course want you to be able to watch your own athlete compete, so we will make that possible. We appreciate all the help we can get, so that we can run a smooth meet. 

All athletes will be checked out early so they can dress, help set up their events, and to give them time to warm up once we are set up and ready to go.  We need everyone to help.  

Davis Invite is Saturday and is a by invitation from them meet, we submit athletes and marks within their standards and they choose who will compete based on how many slots they have for each event. The best heats will compete in the afternoon session and everyone else will compete in the daytime.  We will have one bus going up at 6:30am.

As soon as 3rd Quarter grades are posted, that report card needs to be uploaded to RMA/aktivate in order to be Eligible.  

Also, we asked for parents and athletes to please review the Team Disclosure found on the Eligibility Page, (that was signed by each of you on registermyathlete), so please do so if you have not yet.  Please pay particular attention to the sections on Conduct and Parent's Role, as well as Attendance.
